Now is the time to contact the President to stop the campaign finance reform laws. He has taken an oath to uphold the laws of the land. Let's hold him to it. This is a clear violation of free speech.
The White House comment line phone number is: 202-456-1111
Be sure to hold for someone instead of going to the comment line voice mail. The mailbox is full--as expected.
Do your part and call now.

I applaud your efforts but the President doesn't care. He's just another politician. Use us and then lose us.

I called. Had to wait for about 5 minutes. My comment
I find it very disturbing to find my President siding with my liberal Senators, Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray, and not with my Congressman, George Nethercutt.

I have called and inform them if President Bush signs this bill then as I did when his Father ran for his second term (Read my lips), I will vote third party or stay home. I am tired of this great Constitution and what it stands for taking a backseat to these moderate politicians. The son should take a lesson to what happend to his father when he seeked a second term. You can not compromise with liberals, socialists.

Thank you for posting this. I spent last night leaving voicemails for republican senators. I can't believe this is even happening. I hate loathing Bush right now and I want him to go on national TV to explain signing this. He should at least have the guts to do this instead of hiding behind his website and press secretary.
