Verdict at 0330 EST.

Make that 1530 EST. My bad.
To: codebreaker
Yeah, something other than CFR(so depressing!)...

This country is going to the dawgs.... When people are on trial for their pets actions .... Now, you know we have too many laws and lawyers .... Don't take me wrong, folks , a young woman is dead, I am well aware of that, but reading the intent of people and their pets is no easy task... and then dispensing justice based on those conclusions, I dont know Im not real thrilled with this either way.. This is a tragedy in more ways then one

Awfully quick decision for 2nd Degree murder...

The jury pool in this area is tough to read.. Look at the OJ fiasco

I'm sorry Norm, but seeing those vicious dogs being allowed to live in that close apartment setting seems ludicrous to me. I live in a house in Dallas, Tx., and when I step out of my front door, there is plenty of space if needed. And also I consider the disposition of this breed of dog.

Of course Kat doesn't like the dogs.

Both times I've served on LA juries, I've been impressed with people's desire to do their duty and do justice.

This country is going to the dawgs.... When people are on trial for their pets actions .. And Condit gets a pass ... Do you honestly think you would get a pass if an associate of yours is missing, and the suspicion is that you are involved and your only tactic is to stonewall?
Some people get their their panties in a wad about CFR - I'd much rather address the real inequities in our legal system.
I won't be happy until the law is applied equally to all, but that's along day a comin'

I hear ya, I grew up in a rural environment, I can't imagine how eager these big dawgs were anytime they got to escape that damn apartment...

I see something ironic about the application of justice in this country, I think the years of the ClinTon regime have solidified that opinion with a lot of us folks... Interns disappear once and great awhile, dog attacks are all too frequent these days

I see something ironic about the application of justice in this country, I think the years of the ClinTon regime have solidified that opinion with a lot of us folks... The current thinking (at least for members of our government) is: Its legal if you can get away with it.

The male "human" that is on trial was quoted as saying (paraphrased), "Neighbors be damned, nothing will change my feelings about Presas" Please note that he said this AFTER his dog killed an innocent woman. I hope that he and his grotesque wife are found guilty on all counts.
To: RoughDobermann
I believe you will get your wish due to the rapidity with which the jury deliberated.
To: NormsRevenge
I sincerely hope so.
To: RoughDobermann
I just hope I dont have to muzzle my kats and declaw them as a result of all this.. :-)
