SURVIVOR Sarah uses Old Glory as Sleeping Mat

Did anybody else notice Sarah, now in the Rotu tribe, SLEEPING on a US Flag, and using it for a blanket? I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but it seems like a glaring case of a complete lack of respect for the US Flag. I don't blame Sarah, I doubt given her background that she knew you can't use an American Flag for a sleeping bag, but the PRODUCERS let this get on the air?She was curled up in it to keep the bugs off, and then there were several shots of her laying on it, eating and talking to the camera.

Dan Rather probably sent it to the producers, with orders to show it being defiled in some way.

I also noticed that and saw it only for a split second.
You have to pity the brainless Sarah, she doesn't know any better.
I bet she went to college at Berkley. Most twenty somethings (especially women) don't have a clue as to what the Old Glory stands for or represents. Sign of the times I guess.

It does not matter, this idiot is gone now. That's what happens when you have your brains sucked out and reimplanted in your chest.

I mentioned that on the other thread where I thought that Paschual should have pulled it away from her. On "Good Morning America", the female host asked her about it and she claimed that everyone was using it as a blanket. I thought that was kind of odd since I had never seen it anywhere else except hanging on the hut. Sarah claims that she didn't like the flag on the ground and that someone told her that it was all right.
I noticed that the male host of the show didn't seem to like her. He made the comment that she would be on the show if they could get her out of bed. She was supposed to be on next but after the weather about 4 times, commercials and two interviews with so-called experts she finally appeared at the end. That may be normal for that show.

Though this was disheartening, it wasn't half as sick as the nitwit Shawn's (sp?) diatribe on "being a slave and massa' making him work", while all he wanted to do was "cccchhiillll".
It made him look like the total idiot that he is. And, that tribe (prior to last night's show where the juggled the teams) wonders why they have lost EVERY challenge. They are not motivated; they are lazy. In addition, those idiots voted off Hunter (the ex-Navy pilot) who was the only person that was doing any work in their camp.
The flag thing bothered me too, but I must admit (having spent a few weeks on a jungle beach (Punta Banca, Costa Rica) myself) covering up with anything you can find is sometime necessary. I personal would have not used Old Glory, but I can see why someone might.

I haven't seen the show, but I wonder why they even had an American flag with them anyway?

I vaguely remember that Paschual, the judge, brought it as his luxery item. You have to remember that when the program was filmed, right after 9/11, suppliers were selling anything with a flag on it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...
Someone just give me a picture of Sarah's rack already!!!!

I don't think you'll have long to wait. She said she would pose when the money was right. Don't get any ideas about a Freep-A-Thon.

Yes, I saw it. And it ticked me off.
