Power company employees ask for full investigation of electricity pylon explosion
ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- The union representing Public Power Company employees on Tuesday demanded a full investigation into a powerful explosion that damaged a high voltage electricity pylon connecting Greece with Italy.
The blast late Sunday near Greece's border with Albania toppled an electricity pylon connected to an undersea power cable which runs to Italy. Police said they are investigating the blast, caused by a large amount of dynamite, but have no leads in the case.
"If the explosion is an act of sabotage, then the issue is of major importance," the union said in an announcement, which called on "the government and Public Power Company to ensure the security of facilities and unhindered functioning of the company, and the country's power supply."
The cable, which can transport up to 400,000 volts of electricity, was not working at the time of the explosion and no power outages occurred.

"If the explosion is an act of sabotage,"
Well, perhaps someone just placed a large amount of dynamite there for safekeeping, and well...you know how those Greeks love to smoke...

The albanians are up to their latest land grab....they want parts of Greece as well as ALL of KosovO,MOST of Macedonia,a nice chunk of Montenegro, more of Serbia and some people in the know, say that they even want parts of BULGARIA as well.
Ah, land grabbers....the albanian mafia, the kla, the nla and all their other narco-terrrorist groups....the best albania can offer the world!!

I feel that I can SAFELY say...it was not the Greeks who did the deed!!

If the explosion of a huge amount of dynamite was sabotage...(sheesh!)
Personally, my bet is that somebody just lost all that dynamite while they were on their way to buy medicine for their sick mother, and then it just went off.
And the mother was sick because the evil United States supports Israel, so its all the fault of the U.S.

I believe the Albanians are real big into white slavery, too. The Albanian mafia promises women jobs in the cities and when they arrive they are forced into prostitution.A lot of women deemed missing from Serbia,Bosnia, etc. during the wartorn 90's are actually in the hands of some of these criminals. The State department actually has a division looking into it.I met a social worker on a plane once who contracted with NATO to counsel rescued women.I wanted to take a shower after listening to this woman. The Albanian mafia are no better than Al-Qaeda and probably have links to them.

Somebody explain immediately! a high voltage electricity pylon connecting Greece with Italy.Hang on, hoss! Yeah, I reckon it wasn't connected. Those two countries of classical antiquity do not share any borders, and I double assure you there are no wires across the strait that separates Italy from Albania.
Anyway, if anything were going across Albania, they would steal it.

You are absolutely correct.
If you want to know alot about what is going on now and has happened in KosovO, I think you may find this site to be of interest.
www. decani.yunet.com
It is a site which can give you a great deal of information about the history of the area and the Church centered there.
Please check it out.
