Jim March is a self-described "gun nut," frustrated because the Contra Costa County Sheriff's office won't give him a concealed-weapons permit.

The towering redhead from Pittsburg has taken his beef with the sheriff over the permit to federal court, saying county Sheriff Warren Rupf and a few police chiefs in 2000 violated his constitutional rights.

The longtime sheriff who is head of the auxiliary group, the Posse, said fewer than half the 380 Posse members hold concealed weapon permits.

So the figures would seem to bear out March's allegations; that is, of the 190 CCW permits currently issued in Contra Costa County, 179 of them are for POSSE MEMBERS.

The real objective of all the gun control in California is to keep weapons away from Hispanics and Asians.

It is understood that when these folks become thoroughly Americanized they will turn away from their traditional cutlery and take up guns. Maintaining dual-language education systems is also part of the effort to keep the Hispanics and Asians from becoming American, again lest they take up guns for self-defense.

The last thing the Liberal whites and blacks in California want is for the immigrants to become dangerous to them!
