I realize certain regions of Spain are quite socialist. You've addressed the Catalans. If I'm not mistaken, aren't the Basques also sociaist? What about the Corsicans?

I don't honestly know the makeup of present day Spain. My point was that the collectivization was heavily influenced by Comintern operating in the interests of the USSR. As noted, British-American history likes to suppress this because it belies the 'glorious' nature of the anti-Fascist communists that fought the Revolution. The Communists and leftists have hijacked history in this arena.
