Rusty Yates and HIS Family on TODAY Show (Where's the Kennedy Family?)

Did anyone catch the two-fold interview on the TODAY Show with Katie Couric?
What a joke! And where was Andrea Yates' representation? No family members from her side! I smell a division brewing in that family.
Just like on Friday during the separate news conferences, hasn't anyone noticed this? Your thoughts and comments.

Great question, not daddy!
Dora Yates, sat there and said, "Andrea never exhibited dangerous behavior," WHAT? Gee, lady she tried to commit suicide with a large steak knife (what a shame Rusty stopped her) the year before she had Mary!
You saw and questioned her why she was filling up the bathtub two weeks before the murders!
Isn't that a simpl@ss answer from mother-in-law?

I made it a point NOT to watch that slug.
BTW, Andrea's family was on GMA with Diane Sawyer today so I think a division is definitely a-brewin'. Didn't watch them either. Loved hearing the jury speak, though. Thank heavens for common sense jurors.

Wasn't it though? I guess she was worried if she hammered to hard on Rusty about his future plans (another wife/babymaker and children, she never asked this) he wouldn't stick around with his mommie and aunts, brother for the second interview (8 o'clock hour)!
She's a joke and so was the entire interview!

Wasn't Andrea's mother-in-law the one that said she saw Andrea pull wads of her hair out, and thought cartoon characters were talking to her.....Andrea certainly isn't the only fruitcake in that bunch....

Gee, I would've like to hear from the Kennedy clan! They know Rusty is moving on with his life, if he hasn't already and they lay some blame Rusty's way for not doing more to avoid this tradegy!
He was with Andrea and couldn't see the downhill spiral she was on, didn't he sleep in the same bed as her? Of course she stopped bathing and washing her hair, gee how sexy!
Of course he found sex somewhere else, here is a man that had five kids in six yrs. he was a horny dog, and still is!

Katie was very GENTLE with Rusty and family. Dateline last night said that Rusty was a football star and Homecoming King in highschool, as well as Andrea being Valedictorian and swimteam captain. I'm sure the groupies are after Rusty already, a guy I view with contempt.

You know what I have never heard anyone ask Yates: if he was faithful to his wife. The answer to that question would be interesting to hear...Might explain a lot, too.

HER family was on ABC! I didn't realize HIS was on the Today Show... interesting... battling stations.....
Her family said some interesting things about him, including that he was not sympathetic to her problems and something about him not ever changing diapers......

You are so right about that! The entire family is nutty! And now Rusty comes out and said (to Katie) that he has no choice but to sue that Indian doctor that screwed up according to Rusty on Andrea's medicine!

Did you notice how hostile Matt Lauer was to the jurors?
That mother of Rusty's is a real piece of work. The whole family is having to turn themselves inside out. They want us to think she was insane so that the real killers are the doctors - and they want us to think that they never had an inkling that there was a problem, because then they might have to take some responsibility. They are memorizing their talking points in preparation for Rusty's lawsuit. And they make me sick.

How true! My guess is he was screwing around with another kitten while his babymaker was home going out of her mind--the woman stopped bathing herself and scratched her head bald, what do you think? Isn't it as obvious as the sun rising?

Rusty will be even more desireable should he successully sue the medical community.
Leave it up to GE and Katie to further diffuse the responsibilty and muddy up the picture.

Her family said some interesting things about him, including that he was not sympathetic to her problems and something about him not ever changing diapers...... Gee, that is interesting! A division is definitely there and now they are free to show it.
They were probably told by the Defense team to pretend that they are unified, it will look better to the jury, now they can let it all hang out!

Andrea's family thinks charges should get looked into against Russell. They had a lot to say on ABC. He's a piece of crap of a human being, and he can't play dumb about her condition any longer. The family pleaded with him many times. They knew she was dangerous, because they had to hide all the knives in the home. Her mom comes over and sees a butcher block with knives and says "Russell why are these here?" He didn't give a crap about anyone but himself. I wonder if Katie asked him if he has a girlfriend?

That's what I'm thinking. Wonder if the DA's office is asking the same question.

Fabulous observation! Absolutely correct about the Yates family--no wonder the Kennedy family wants no parts of this schrade!
