And there you have it, a crash-course in the wacked out politics of Massachusetts. And this is only the tip of the iceberg!

Thanks for the play by play! I live here and didn't know most of this stuff, then why would I because I don't subscribe to ANY of the MA papers, either the local rag(T&G) or the Boston GLOB! I figure if it has to do with MA politics it has to do with liberals, so I just ignore them until its time for the elections and I try to pick the most conservative candidates. But this being MA, sometimes the Democrat is more conservative than the Reublican!! One of my favorite politicians here is John Silber who I happily voted for in lieu of Bill Weld!

I like John Silber too. The only reason I didn't vote for him in 1990 (over Bill Weld) was because of that dippy neo-liberal who ran with him as Lt. Governor (Marjorie Clapprood). Silber is definitely in the wrong party.
