That's assuming it's a serial pedophile. I'm leaning toward, either the blue v-pill guy (debate about viagra or valium) or daddy and an accident and an isolated event. I really don't think David Westerfield did it. Too many things don't add up. His motive is supposedly because he was spurned by Brenda? After what, trying to make her jealous by asking to meet her friends? What did he do with her for hours until he got his RV, when he had no idea when the police would show up. The fact that BvD called the police so quickly is suspect as well. Have SDPD been able to determine if he in the house? Don't you think that if Westerfield's prints had been on the closet door they would have broadcast it.

She said she told Westerfield that she and her friends might return to Dad's the next Friday if she could get a baby sitter. Her husband, she recalled telling him, would be out of town. Did she really say this in an attempt to lure Westerfield to the house, or did she think after the fact that saying this would show DW might have reason to go there (if she's trying to pin him with the crime), being that DVD would be gone? As it turned out, Damon's trip was postponed. Damon stayed home (or did he?) and allegedly put Danielle to bed.

Brenda van Dam denied ever dancing with Westerfield, but before the hearing ended, the defense listed several bystanders who said they had seen the pair on the dance floor together. At 1:50 a.m., the bar closed and she drove Kamal and Easton back to her house. The two male friends also joined them. She didn't notice when Westerfield left the bar? He's been hanging close, buying drinks, dancing and she doesn't notice when he leaves?

I haven't had time to read the whole thread yet this a.m., but someone offered the possibility that Danielle was dead and removed from the home before BVD came home. Tie this to the weird entry in Danielle's diary "daddy please love (forgive) me". I believe, and I posted this thought in earlier threads, that Damon was ticked off at Danielle for refusing his advances; Danielle was feeling guilty for refusing Dad. Things got out of hand that night.... Westerfield was a convenient scapegoat. Unless they find his DNA under Danielle's nails, can date the blood in the RV and on his jacket, can date the drag marks at the vacant lot.... Van Dam's story is full of holes...

A week ago, when we were speculating about the VD's, I would have been agreeable to your theory, but after hearing BVD on the stand last week, I did not sense anything cunning or diabolical about her....in fact, she reminded me of a 50 year old Valley Girl, "OH My Gawd!!!"  From the SD forum reports.....seems that Barb and Denise are 2-baggers...and similarly short on gene distribution....

Trying to think out of the box..if there is no innocent explanation of Danielle in the MH looks bad for DW, framed or otherwise...

Brenda goes for pizza after arriving home at 5:30 why not stop while out or have it delivered.. gets home around 6:30 from dominos..one is about 2 miles away another 3.5...

Takes kids out of school early that day to get passport photos, Damon purchasing tickets..enough time to get passports before trip?

VD's get new mortgage? money problems or for reward or attorneys fees?

Did VD's and or kids walk the dog in neighborhood? If so DW must have known they had a dog..if the kids walked the dog could they have stopped by and said hi to DW while he was cleaning or loading his motorhome sometime previous to incident..maybe even walked in?

Dog tears up dog bed (night of incident!)..Damon puts dogs bed in laundry room, not trash...puts dog in Derek's room and dog wakes him up at 3:30..did Derek wake up or did dog walk through cracked door to parents room who's custom is to close their door? In my experience, a dog may tear things and create havoc when it is left alone for a period of time or if it is shut in a room while something strange is going on elswhere..could there be dog scratch marks on inside of any doors in VD house? Could dog have been left in Damons room while he drove away for awhile?

Brenda cleans up kitchen after they eat pizza at 7-8 pm, Damon cleans up kitchen after pizza at 9-10pm, pizza must be messy?

Vacuum cleaner bag was in trash can new bag in vacuum..vacuum was left/found in upstairs hall..(had to be walked around) Brenda said she left it there after vacuuming downstairs (when?)and was to vacuum upstairs that weekend..why don't I believe that bull?cocaine?

Dad's crew of partyers comes back to house, each has one slice of left over pizza, one guy has supposedly taken Viagra and wants to hok up with Barbara..where does he intend to do this? time is running on that pill...Pizza Party my butt, how about more MJ, booze, and sex, make more sense?Oops maybe something has happened and Damon knows and wants them all out of there so he can clean up??

Damon says he sometimes could not see lights on alarm panel next to door in master bedroom if he was laying a certain way in bed as poster from bed is in the way..also saw time when brenda & pizza crew got home 1:54 55 56 from seeing VCR...must have good eyesight to see from bed? where is tv/vcr remember with door open brenda could see that tv was on from downstairs.........Damon sees time on vcr but not red light on alarm sensor???Brenda walks in door and sees red alarm light on pad near garage door...amazing..

blood matching victims dna was on right front side near shoulder of jacket, why not burn clothes once body is disposed of? What evidence was first seized in his SUV that related to victims disappearance? Back of earring? or was it just a flyer?

If DW did it he gets my vote for stupid criminal of the year...

If the guy is guilty I want him hung..but I want the truth! I want the RIGHT person hung, and I am not sure the police have thought out every thing that the freepers here have!
