Personally, I wish they would tax everyone who drives into the place a thousand bucks. A nice lesson on the reality of taxation for those who work there.

I also believe we need a federal holiday where everyone in the nation gets the day off except banks, the federal government, and the post office. I have nothing against these folks, but it would only be fair.

This has been their Johnny-one-note for years. They have been whining that if they could only impose a commuter tax all their problems would go away. Utter nonsense. The only thing that would go away are businesses that would make a bee line to VA and MD. This is exactly why COngress keeps tight control over DC.

Yea! and what is it with banks, it always seems like theyre only open about 3 hours a day. It always seems if I try to go after work theyve just closed minutes before, you can still see the people through the glass doors meandering around the bank.

The wealthy have not yet used the greatest tax deduction available.... not working. When more skilled people begin to do that rather than get fleeced, watch out.
