I worked on an MTV show with Colin Quinn. A good enough guy, although I don't find him particularly funny.

I saw him a couple years ago at a small club in NYC with a friend for her birthday and he was great. There was a five minute part that had us literally crying!(along with about a half dozen others). The rest of the crowd was just staring. I think half of those had no idea what he was talking about and the rest were uptight about it. (It was real 'inside baseball' type stuff, you had to understand some very obscure references.)

After the show we were at the bar upstairs and he came over to buy us drinks because he said he was going to bail out of that routine but he couldn't looking at us front and center. He was a very nice guy and glad we were there since it was his favorite bit.

YOU WORKED ON REMOTE CONTROL!!! Did you "get to know" Kari Wuhrer?

I used to like a character Colin Quinn used to do on SNL called "Joe Blow," a sort of Archie Bunker type character. Wasn't original, but was entertaining.
