Only if some strange Tennessee Law allows him to run for both seats (like when Liebermann ran for Senate and VP in CT).

I don't think he can keep his seat while running, but it's a dem seat already with a black majority. That seat is as safe dem as Pete Hoekstra's seat is safe GOP.

I don't know if he can run for two offices simultaneously. He would have to since Representatives have to be reelected every two years, while Senators every 6 years. Senator reelections are staggered, 1/3 of the Senate is refreshed every 2 years.

I hope that Harold Ford loses BAD too.
