Quit whining. Most everyone who loses a case (and there are losers in every case) hates their lawyer afterward. If you have a legitimate beef, then file a complaint with the State Bar. Unlike most other professionals, these Bar organizations are filled with leftist bureaucrats who delight in ruining successful lawyers (who make them feel like losers who have wasted their own law degrees.) It hasn't happened to me, but I have seen it regularly. Other states may differ.

Meanwhile, it was lawyers who founded this country, and I see many today who are fighting for your freedoms (often with little or no compensation) in ways that should make any freeper proud.

Those who openly hate people who have success and knowledge are saying more about themselves than those they hate.

Granted, most lawyers, like most of any group of workers, aren't particularly good at what they do, and might hold views that we find repugnant.

I try to do my own work pro se since I have a background in Florida law. In fact, I hated one of my former attorneys for fouling up my case, fired her, developed my own records, without retrieving her file, papered the opposition with good stuff until they couldn't take any more.

When your opponent's file starts to become three feet high, they want to settle even more than you do. If it's a fight with an insurance company however, they are the worst, even your own company.

Don't expect much movement by any insurance company unless your physical appearance is marred and the disfigurement is visible. Pain means nothing to them. Loss of income means nothing. They have their top figure and that's as high as they will go and they can stay in the process longer than any claimant. It's too bad the claimant always loses in pi cases even if they win or settle. The attorney does well, the doctors earn a living but the claimant ends up empty handed nearly every time, getting the scraps at the end. I love legal research and trial prep but I despise what happens to accident victims. They get absolutely no justice, definitely not in Florida.
