A couple of months old, but certainly relative in light of redoubled efforts to cram this amnesty thing down our throats. Also a good source of statistics with which Freepers can arm themselves for when we call our congressmen, post to forums, talk to colleagues, etc.

Memo to Amnesty-loving anti-American Surrender-monkeys...

Kiss My Vote

We're a nation strong with immigrants
     Who know about fair play;
But you prefer the other ones,
     Without an honest day.
I know that you will call me names
But I will not be shy…
          Hey go ahead, kiss illegals,
          And kiss my vote goodbye.

I don't care if they're from Mexico,
     Canada, France or Spain.
I don't care if they swam a river,
Or got here in a plane.
I'm not giving up my country,
No matter how hard you try…
          Hey go ahead, kiss illegals,
          And kiss my vote goodbye.

Put down your economics,
     Your demographics too.
Uphold our laws and borders,
     As we elected you.
But if you're thinking otherwise,
We'll know for sure you lie…
          Hey go ahead, kiss illegals,
          And kiss my vote goodbye.

You lightly take your promises,
     But we will not forget.
Double cross us once again,
     Your sun will surely set.
The time has come to send them home,
And I have told you why…
          But go ahead, kiss illegals,
          And kiss my vote goodbye.

And if you' think it can't be done,
     Then step aside, we'll fight.
It's amnesty or honesty,
     Surrender or be right.
So listen, you politicians,
And hear our vengeful cry…
          Deport your dear illegals,
          Or kiss our votes goodbye.

"Those who become naturalized Americans are required to take this oath: "I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; . . . that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.""

Big deal, our Presidents take an oath that goes something like..."to protect, defend, and uphold, the Constitution of the United States of America so help me God", they all lie when they say this without blinking, without fear of judgement day, and without fear of the rage of the American public should they break that oath. Congress has/had a move on to eliminate their oath altogether. How about an amendment to the Constitution that failure to uphold their oath warrants a sun rise firing squad?

The exodus from political careers would be amazing.

Last month I read in article posted on FR.com that out of 1500 Mexicans who applied for entry into the US, 1499 out of 1500 lied on their application forms.

"Mexico won't allow U.S. investment in Mexico's state-owned oil industry. "

I recently read that Mexico's oil industry is in desperate need of money to repair its infrastructure. What do you want to bet that some kind of arrangement to allow foreign investment in Mexican oil will be part of the deal?

When Fox was here in September I was stunned at the strength of his demand for a change in our immigration laws - even suggesting a time line. I wondered then what is up? Why is Bush catering to this guy?

There is something rotten in Denmark. America should make sure that we don't make the same mistakes, either at home or in "nation-building" in other lands.

We have already made the mistake on a far greater scale over here. The "diversity" one sees in Copenhagen does not compare with what one sees in major American cities.

For a sensible Conservative approach to Immigration, see Immigration & The American Future.

The illegal immigration issue is a completely separate one. It makes no more sense to allow those who came here illegally--without respect for our right to control our own borders--to remain as legal residents, than it would to invite a burglar to join your family. It is the same principle, and the only reason that it does not seem obvious that it is the same principle, is because of a two generation attack upon American Patriotism by those trying to promote the idea of "One World." (See Myths & Myth Makers In American Higher Education.)

There must be no Amnesty, this side of the border!

Denmark's liberal refugee policy, which grants entry to anyone who requests asylum at the border,

Any Texans here? Why don't we publicize this here in Texas, charter a ship, and dump our illegals on them. I'm sure we could send shipload after shipload for months on end, lol.

Just ask any congresscritter you call or email when was the last time "our" government gave "amnesty" to any native-born American with an IRS lien!

IMMIGRATION resource library - including coast-to-coast list of local INS numbers!

Statement: "Amnesty raises profound questions."

Response: No it doesn't. It merely illustrates the bankruptcy of those in positions of power. They will sell their own for a few dollars coupled with garnering a few votes. Why? Power and its perks. BANKRUPT! It is up to us. The leadership has gone away.

Fox called for full legalization of illegal aliens, exempting Mexico from U.S. limits on immigration and work visas, giving Mexicans a guest worker program that uses temporary work visas, and allowing illegal Mexican aliens to get U.S. driver's licenses. Fox also demanded in-state college tuition rates and other taxpayer-paid benefits. Fox is asking for more U.S. financial handouts to bolster his pathetic economy. He didn't offer to give us anything in return except poor, uneducated, unemployed Mexicans who can't find jobs in Mexico's corrupt socialist economy. Mexico won't allow U.S. investment in Mexico's state-owned oil industry.

I sometimes wonder if President Fox may have a worn, dog-earred copy of "Mein Kampf" laying around his palatial mansion somewhere.
