I understand they were laughing and joking about the white man being stuck in her windshield, I think that's just the language they were using.
I think it is probably not really about race, but about a homeless person.
They probably had seen him around the neighborhood and thought that nobody will know if he is gone for a few days and finding a dead homeless person is not really a big deal, I'm sure it happens quite a bit.
I am giving them more credit then they probably deserve, but I think they knew what they were doing and took there chances that a dead homeless guy would go un-noticed and when found just thought he would be scooped up and forgotten.
IMHO
Failure to help is one thing -- keeping others from helping is something else all together. Tying a person up in one's garage is one thing, but it becomes murder when you leave him there without providing what he needs to sustain life,
Hitting him with her car was one thing, but keeping him locked up in her garage knowing that doing so would cause his death, comes pretty close to first degree murder.
According to the detective's affadavit on TSG, it appears that her prime motivation for the coverup was that she simply didn't want to go to jail (point 66).
But then there is that giggling at the par-tay (point 29) that's quite troubling.
This case would still be stagnant if the informant had not come forward. The cops really need to protect her butt.

Yes finding a dead homeless guy is not too uncommon in that area. There are several large homeless shelters not far north of there. What would raise a flag, even to our ME, would be the mechanism of injury. No matter how long the perps tried to clean this guy up, there would still be glass all in him.
Yes, from a previous article, the word "giggled" was used when she told her friends she hit and killed a white man. . .
I read the affidavit, the link to it was posted on another thread. The words "she giggled" are in the arrest warrant/affidavit, written by the detective. His affidavit said that those were the words the INFORMANT used when she described the manner in which this MONSTER told her story. SHE'S EVIL!!
