we need to implement a " no cut and paste rule"Too right! Double negative points when it's anon-political cut-n-paste.

The Socinians do not go so far as the others. Aha!
Do we all look real to you?
Or do we look too strange?
Salt of the Earth.

Fascinating. I didn't realise this was a religious website. Is someone forcing you to read it? Is there some rule about posting these articles that I am unaware of? I have an idea, try ignoring the posts, because they are not going to stop!

Oh, goodie. It must be very hard for you not read them if they bother you so much. Most posts I do not even give a second thought to, why does this bother you so much?

As a Taoist, I don't credit the Bible as being the Word of God, of any of the one and only true gods proported to be. Assuming for a moment that the Bible was the Word of God, then why do so many people gravitate to a God who is such a poor communicator. So many different interpretations of what is says seem to indicate a poor job of communication to the objects of His creation.

a God who is such a poor communicatorDid ya ever think maybe it is a man's perception and understanding that might be lacking?

Speak for yourself W&R: "the tao that is seen is not the true tao."

As Mahone stated it is not God who is not communicating well, it is man who refuses to listen The various 'interpretations of scripture is due to man trying to make the Book say what he wants it to say instead of bowing to the authority of the Book.

Why do you post them, though? Is it just for interested Christians, or is there another reason?

Then to prove Babylon is still in their hearts they roll brightly colored eggs in homage to Ishtar. And the pagans hide them in rabbits nests to keep them from evil spirits. Waiting for earth-mother to be impregnated by the sun. Read about Christ's death on the cross then go figure this crazy holiday out!

Good catch!
Easter is actually named for the Saxon Goddess of spring and fertility, Eostre (which can be spelled 'Oestre' and is the root of the name of the femaile hormone Oestrogen). Her name may or may not be related to Ishtar. The Easter bunny is a 'fluffified' version of Eostre's messenger and symbol, the Hare.
Happy Eostre!
