As a Taoist, I don't credit the Bible as being the Word of God, of any of the one and only true gods proported to be. Assuming for a moment that the Bible was the Word of God, then why do so many people gravitate to a God who is such a poor communicator. So many different interpretations of what is says seem to indicate a poor job of communication to the objects of His creation.

As Mahone stated it is not God who is not communicating well, it is man who refuses to listen The various 'interpretations of scripture is due to man trying to make the Book say what he wants it to say instead of bowing to the authority of the Book.

If the communication is from He who wants His people to serve him, the communication would be so clear as to rise above all misunderstanding - crystal clear to any who care to read, however, centurys of dedicated theologens (not just your occasional reading in less than one lifetime) have not been able to sound the depths of understanding. All who have come before you outside your circle of like believers can't all be wrong unless your ego superceeds acceptance.
