I take the comparison to your DIL and grand-daughter as high praise and I thank you for it. It was your awesome 5,000 FReepers Who Care essay last quarter that educated me about how FR is financed and got me to sign on for a monthly donation. I hadn't given any thought to how FR is supported prior to that.

Thanks for the kind words about my essay. People like you were why I wrote it. The responses I got back from people during those dark days post 9/11 re jobs and other fears were incredible. I believe that most people are good people and will respond in a positive manner when they realize what is going on and the need.

Some respond to a good essay, and some need to be carpet bombed with good humor. You did the later part, (I still can see those terrible three cheer leaders.) However, they are who we are fighting here on Free Republic! Thanks again!
