He's cranky today. Happens once in a while. His good heart shines through, though. He can't fool me. We just need to teach him to move his cursor to the little "x" at the top right of his screen (assuming he's a Winblows user) after he's formulated some of his replies. That little "post reply" box must sing its siren song too loud sometimes.

Okay, I was a lurker for a while before becoming hooked. A friend at work got me onto this wonderful site, and we both participated in the Rallies here in Kansas City during the Florida recount sham. In fact, numerous photos I took were posted on FR after the rallies. It was a tough year tax wise, but as a token of my appreciation, put me down for $20 via snail mail.....Thanks..........a conservative in a liberal RAT infested town........

Great way of looking at it.

I realize that some of what we do during the FReepathons can be annoying to some people. Hey, it's annoying to us that are doing it, we miss out on other stuff.

I saw on another thread where JimRobinson says that it closer to 50,000 than 80,000 FReepers (due to banning, attrition, change of screen names etc). Fine.
WIMom came up with a list of about 400 FReepers who contiruted to the FReepathon threads inone way or another - lots of bumping by saying they contributed.
RottiBiz has a list of 166 monthly contributors, which includes 85 who contribute $1 a day.

BADJOE says there are around 525 monthly contributors. My calculation after yesterday's BOMB says those monthlies put in just shy of 23,000 a quarter. Which leaves a need of $47,000.

All I can say to those who complain about the "endless" Fundraiser threads and "thank you" threads - if each of you would contribute $5 a month, heck even $1 a month - the FReepathons would end, the carpet bombing "begging" posts would end, the worry of FR being here tomorrow would end. And we could all FReep to our hearts content.

I look forward to that day.
