I made a comment about the state of the web site, take it for what its worth.
As I have posted many times. A vibrant, healthy and growing Free Republic is the worst night mare and day time terror for socialists, communists, enviralists, terrorists and phoneys who pretend to be conservatives on this site.
They know for their dark side to be successful, they must totally control the media and only present their agendas as news and to spike the real news.
Free Republic stands tall and stops all of their phoney news distortions. They would do anything to harm Free Republic.
One last observation, I heard the author of the book on Hansen, the FBI mole, this morning on our local conservative radio station. After listening to him, I have to wonder how many Hansens roam Free Republic posing as conservatives with one intent, to harm Free Republic!
Now to the positive, "With another successful Freepathon, we have ruined the next quarter for those who hate America!"

He's doing his best to make that some of the time or maybe even occasionally.
Amen to that! These people work hard and stay up to ALL HOURS to keep Free Republic 'on the air'. If a 'thank you' thread bothers you, don't click on it...you DO have a choice. The 'conservatives' that whine about fundraising posts KILL me...if those folks want to put an END to fundraising, set up a $5 monthly. Easy. Inexpensive. One week of fundraising threads and posts insure that Free Republic will still be here for another TWELVE WEEKS' worth of fundraising-free news and information. If you don't feel that's a fair balance, you are free to visit other forums. I swear no one has a gun to your head...we only intimidate helpless dogs around here. :-)
