I just tell it like it is - which is why you and I always got along.
(But, not to disappoint you... I hear she made the squad and is practicing in case the cheerleaders are needed for the next FReepathon.)
If 10% of those who come to Free Republic or 8,000 Freepers signed up for a simple and painless $5/month auto payment. We would raise $120,000 / quarter.
Unless a Freeper is a poor college student or on a real limited income, $5/month is very easy to find. Just make the pledge and then cut $1.25 out of your weekly expenses and you are there!
How many of us subscribe to a worthless left wing fish wrap posing as a newspaper. Cancel that subscription and send the monthly charge you pay each month to Free Republic. Then you have done two good things. First of all you no longer fund an organization that hates America, your family and you. Then, you fund Free America where America, your family and you are protected!
Make that three things. One less dead tree.
Beautifully written, Gabz.
I'm saving that post for the next FReepathon!
Such love, Joe...such love.
But to then come back issuing the same comments - you're right it is not honorable.
Heck - I can forsee, sometime in the future my tellig everyone I will be gone for awhile - I figure (if and) when I finally sell my house, I'm going to be out of the loop for about a month. But I am stating a reason and a time - no problem!!!!
Anything is faster than a PBS telethon!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say after the BADJOE Monthly Bomb and the WIMom NNL Fund Auction is, "Wow." This should be the next-to-last States' Challenge update (I have a feeling there's enough in BADJOE's CC Machine to push us over $80,000), so here it is.
During every FReepathon, we try to keep track of what each state donates. When you make your donation, let BADJOE know what state it's coming from, and when he reports it, it'll get credited to the state or country of your choice.
If someone from New York, Florida and Virginia (the last top 5 states without a color), any foreign countries and a deployed serviceman wants to see their state/country in color, sing out. It would look so much better than the bold I have now.
We have distributed the $6,579.45 that was in Never Never Land at midnight CST 3/8/2002 to Calofirnia because they donated the most money between 6 pm CST 3/6 and 11:59 pm CST 3/7. Thank you all for a successful FReepathon. Without all the donations, bumps, thread bombs, words of encouragement, and other things that my sleep-deprived brain can't think of, it wouldn't be successful.
List as of 8:10 am CST, 3/7/2002.
