codebreaker, I'm addressing this to you because it's your thread...but it's really addressed to all the folks who have decided to rail against Mr. Donovan and the Catholic League, and especially those who claim to be "Catholic."

For years, the entertainment industry, liberal educators, self-serving politicians, and their supporters have been "dumbing-down" the populace, insulting religious beliefs, and generally leading us further into the sewer!

Evidently, some of you believe this is justified because to complain against such obvious attacks would be "judgmental" behavior (or worse, infringes on the "rights" of the perpetrator). I suspect many of you think "someone" will step up to the plate to correct the problem...and, "by gosh when they do, they'll get my vote!" Oh, "but if they challenge me to think about my own participation in this moral slide to decay...I'll just sit here on my computer and trash them!"

..."I'm an adult! I expect to be treated like one! I can handle Howard Sterns despicable ranting...It doesn't matter to me! I'll just choose not to watch!" To all of you who think in such terms; Let me be clear:
You are moral cowards who are even more despicable than Howard Stern! You see a person (Stern) who is through his disgusting presentations is tearing down your very core beliefs, your faith, and your family...and you do NOTHING but "label as freaks" the very people and organizations that are trying to put a stop to the real problems associated with a declining moral standard!

Mr. Donohue and the Catholic League have stepped up to the plate! Thank God they have! They are involved in an endless struggle to overcome the corruption people like you allow to happen!

You all can go back now to ignoring the problems; Changing the subject by blaming "Cardinal Law" for every problem in the universe; And defending Howard Stern's right to fill your minds with garbage, while hiding from the idea that you have a responsibility, and duty, as an "equal citizen" under the law to register a protest against the corruption!
...Because, I'm sure someone you "approve of" will eventually take care of the problem so you don't have to bother about getting involved right now.

To: grumpster-dumpster; all

We've got to stop these 'cheerleaders' for the loony liberals!

"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate,
tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds."

- Samuel Adams

I see, I get the picture. Censorship is OK so long as we're the censors.
Kooool.

Very good grumpster. If these same folks took a non-judgemental view and applied this standard to the zoning laws in their neighborhoods and towns, then randomly sited billboards, trailerparks, as well as mixed-use zoning with businesses next to residencies, cars on cement blocks, etc., would be the rule of thumb everywhere you might look--not to mention stripper bars and porn shops sandwiched between churches and the schools, with the accompanying vagrants associated with such lack of zoning.

Standards applied mean quality upheld, in everything and everywhere. Maybe those folks all DO live in trailerparks and just don't know any better (bet, though, their the same folks who squawk when some newbie doesn't follow formatting standards). Thank God William Donohue does. V's wife.

I agree with you, grumpster-dumpster.

Also, maybe if the Catholic Church wouldn't spend so much time and money taking care of pregnant women, their babies, the poor, and even, sodomites with AIDs, it could spend more time ridding our culture of polutants like Howard Stern and his ilk.

This may be a good opportunity to do just that. It's long overdue for that SCUMBAG, AS*HOLE Stern and his shills to take a fall, his circle jerk supporters notwithstanding.

great moniker for you, your grumpster-izing is headed for the dumpster. You seem to want to absolve Cardinal Law for his obvious immorality (what else can you call moving known sex-offenders operating under the protection of the cloth) while kicking our a$$es for tolerating the first amendment rights of Howard Stern. Howard Stern is not the problem.

I do NOT want to live in your theocracy, especially when it has shown itself not to be above corruption and hypocrisy (like just about every other institution of man).

yup, it's people like me causing the decline and fall of western society - raising my children to be good citizens, working for a living, and trying to contribute to my community. How do you even get on that high horse, much less ride it?
