It seems to me that the soldier who fell out of the copter was captured by the enemy was then a Prisoner Of War. Therefore, he was not killed in combat, but executed as a prisoner. I've checked the newswires, and have yet to see the press release from Ramsey Clark about the mistreatment of prisoners.

I'm honored to be in your presence.

But you can put this in the bank and draw interest, I hate Daschle, he is a "Troll" a coward, an armchair dictator that cares squat for the American people. If he were any kind of man he would take his "concerns" to the president and stop running to the Boob Tubes, his face makes us sick. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. From your lips to G-d's ear...I may print this post out, and keep it on an easel next to the (rarely-watched) television to remind me what REAL AMERICAN WOMEN think of that power-hungry obstructionist piece of excrement! Citizens of South Dakota...just what the h*ll is WRONG with you? Is a government handout MORE IMPORTANT to you than our country, and the lives of our brave sons and daughters serving in the military? If so, you are no better than the depraved "Senator" you elected to office. Shame on you!

I hope now that they just shut their mouths before the rest of us start thinking about THEM as the enemy. Too late...I have regarded liberals/socialists, ESPECIALLY the media and the education cartel, as blood enemies for years.

"You didn't answer my question. Too tough for you?"
there is nothing intelligent in your statement, you have my response. IF my stance is "too tough for you" Then please go back to DU & have a lovefest, for the tough decisions are made by concerned people and the warm fuzzy decisions are made by those who know no peace.
Those who stand for nothing , will fall for anything.
That's why people like you think that those "terrorists" in Gitmo deserve to be treated like POW's. Whereas people like me know the score.
FYI the meaning of my handle (not that it means anything to anyone but me and those who really know) is for a job I did in the Navy ie SERE stands for
Survival Evasion Resistance & Escape it is a code of confidence training course on how to survive in different situations to include PW status. If you are looking for a warm fuzzy, sorry, tell that to the parents, wifes & children of those who have given everything for the Freedom that we all enjoy.
Or maybe you can just BITE ME

"After you've been in combat, experienced death up close and personal...then tell me your opinions on moral behavior during wartime. Yes, my opinions may very well change it I were to ever be in combat. I knew I'd draw some fire from my orginal post on this thread which was my intention. It's been interesting to see how people argued their points.

Then please go back to DU ??Never been there in my life

You are wrong. You leap and assume too much. I only suggested it might be improper to execute them all today.
"Or maybe you can just BITE ME"
Dude, take it easy. I'm not Mike Tyson. I don't bite. LOL!

There are South Dakotan's, and there are citizens of South Dakota. A vast chasm exists between the two. No South Dakotan has ever cast a vote for tommy the commie, two tongues, d'aschole.

There are South Dakotan's, and there are citizens of South Dakota. Unfortunately, there seems to be a LOT of those "citizens" in and around Sioux Falls. Any chance SF could be annexed to Iowa or Minnesota?

I just don't think nukes are EVER the answer. I think God is. I'm not naive. I just know God is about to make a move in the mideast. I am on an intercessory prayer website every day called Elijah List. These men and women of God hear his voice and he does reveal things to them (and to anyone who is willing to hear his voice, repent, and give their lives to him). We are not alone in this. God is on the side of the righteous and revival is on its way.
To: Marysecretary
As a christian I understand and respect what you are saying but, I'm ever so glad that Truman had the guts to drop those 2 nukes on Japan. That decision saved thousands of american lives, and one of them easily could have been my father. I was born in '48.

any chance... An idea that has been floating around for quite awhile, we just haven't pulled it off yet, and anyway they would just build another city for liberals to inhabit. Take a look at the red/blue zone map and you will also see the wrong zone around all of the SD Indian Reservations.

Yes, I believe most of our prisoners of war in Japanese prison camps were on their way to be butchered, so in that case I do agree that something needed to be done. I just hope and pray we never have to do it again (or have it done to us!).

"I would be willing to bet big money that it was not a bullet to the head but more along the lines of the Daniel Pearl execution." See #19 above. We have it on tape."
Fox news is reporting today that the soldier, Neil Roberts, was shot in the back of the head, and had his throat slit.
Want to guess which came first?
To: Tricorn
If the Red Cross reps went into Afghanistan they too would end up with a cut throat.
