As a christian I understand and respect what you are saying but, I'm ever so glad that Truman had the guts to drop those 2 nukes on Japan. That decision saved thousands of american lives, and one of them easily could have been my father. I was born in '48.

Yes, I believe most of our prisoners of war in Japanese prison camps were on their way to be butchered, so in that case I do agree that something needed to be done. I just hope and pray we never have to do it again (or have it done to us!).
