I think Howard's commentary during the news was what drew me to him, because in the evolving PC world, he would say things no one dared to.

Good to see I'm so OUT of the Howeird Loop I have NO IDEA what Kamikazee interviews are! I heard he let Jackie the Jokeman go (what a WT guy that was) And now recalling (ewwww) gary, stuttering john...Fred... I guess they are all still with him but I had heard/read somewhere his ratings are down.

Poor Howard...maybe he likes her for her personality. I like Howard but his taste in women is reduced to: skinny, youth, phony boobs, strippers, porn stars, preferably bleached blondes. Facial features don't matter if the woman has phony boobs, bleached hair, and is thin. She actually looks like a very young Joan Rivers.
This woman is homely. Her eyes are too close together, her boob job is a disaster -- she is thin, but that doesn't mean she has a nice body -- just that she's thin. You gotta figure that that's the best she will ever look and she is far from attractive.
But she has the elments that attract Howard: young, skinny, phony boobs, bleached blonde hair. Howard is too insecure to date a natural woman like his ex Allison.

But, seriously I had heard his ratings in NY had slipped and frankly I know alot of people who USED to listen to him but don't anymore.....
I also thought I had quit listening to him in the early '90's but actually I realize I was still listening to him in Feb of '98 when Clintoon's monica thing broke - and his reaction to it (thinking it was OK scum clinton was cheating) was the final blow for me....I turned him off as I listened to him defend clinton, probably because he was wanting to cheat himself.
One thing I'd like to ask though, to those who listen still...do his parents still participate in the show? What was their reaction to the divorce? I always wondered what they did/said about it.
Are you sure you don't mean highest rated radio show during morning drive time? I find it hard to believe that Howard Stern has more listeners than Rush Limbaugh.
Anyway, he used to be in New Orleans, and I remember him saying he was number one in morning programming and referring to his rank in that particular time slot. I'd be shocked if he had more listeners than Rush. You can find Rush in practically any city in the U.S., and he streams his show. Stern is not everywhere, and his target audience is much smaller than Rush's.
Anyway, let me know if you find anything out.

Right now however, I have an appointment to view the latest episode of Jerry Springer. It's a particularly thought-provoking episode where a 3ft lesbian dwarf sleeps with her brother and sister at the same time.
