I liked what Haig had to say about Daschles complaints last night on Hannity and Colmes - basically "why didn't Daschle pick up the phone and call Bush if he was having problems instead of going on the boob tube to complain" Haig even went as far as to say the democrats were in a coordinated campaign to smear the president. He's 100% right.

While I'm not over 50, what would have surprised me is if the government had no such contingency plans.

We all know the importance of keeping at least a limited backup in the event of catastrophe. People are acting like they cloned all three branches and have them underground signing treasury checks.

If Washington is destroyed I darn sure expect some kind of backup system to keep the basics functioning. At least now the "evil doers" know if they think they can cut the head of the US snake off they are wrong.

Calling it a "Shadow Government" is deceptive. It is part of the Continuity of Government plan. It is the same government, not some "shadow" alternative that one can "join". Plus it's only one branch (executive). Congress has their own contingency plans.

When you get a chance, would you please re-post that article from CNN that you found from early in the fall that said distinctly that the Continuity of Government plan had been implemented by order of President Bush due to the threat to Washington?

The information was available to the public via CNN. Daschle is a liar.

I loath Lil Timmy Dasshole because of what he wants to do to this country given the chance. But I do not think he's a stupid man. Little man, yes. Stupid man, no.
