[history]
There's a staff mutiny afoot at the vaunted Harvard Business Review.
Four top Review editors have written letters to the editorial director of Harvard Business School's publishing operation, seeking the resignation of their boss, Editor Suzy Wetlaufer. Citing perceived ethical breaches by Ms. Wetlaufer, some of the letter writers said she had lost the confidence of a majority of the magazine's top editors.

That is really too bad. I guess I just lost a lot of respect for Mr. Welch. I just recently finished his book too. It's funny how he talked about honesty and integrity throughout his book. I am disappointed.

I am an old white male that retired from Ford Motor Company at the end of 2001. Even though the evil Jac Nasser was fired before I left, his legacy still lives on in many respects as regards diversity and performance evaluations. In spite of what Ford is feeding to the media, the performance ranking system that Jac established is still being implemented at least at the lower levels of the company. Jac Nasser is a disciple of Jack Welch and modeled many of his initiatives at Ford on what he learned from Jack Welch and a sycophant of Welch's named Noel Tichy. The point of all this is that I am glad to know of anything that causes Jack Welch discomfort. I hate him almost as much as I do Jac Nasser. Ford is still struggling to recover from the legacy of Jac and Jack.

Geez, if it was Fidel Castro or Teddy Kennedy or some other leftie who the subject of her story who was banging her, none of these other lefties would have blinked an eye. Got to admire Jack, getting a little on the side like that. And, of course, anything that causes Harvard some discomfort can't be all bad.

It's funny how he talked about honesty and integrity throughout his bookNo wonder Jack and Bill were great golfing buddies when they summered on the Vineyard. Guess he talked about the same things that Vernon did.

Citing perceived ethical breaches by Ms. Wetlaufer, . . .Sounds like she should have been more careful about her breeches.

Harold Ross had a policy about that when he was in charge of the New Yorker, but I don't think I can repeat it here.
