Boy, John, you are sure right about dems running from Daschle. On Fox last nigiht LORETTA SANCHEZ went on and on about how good a job President Bush was doing, and how this war was going to take a long time, and how getting OBL wasn't the whole reason for the war. David Dreier complimented her, and said that the politicization of the war in some quarters, as in Daschles's words, was unfortunate. Sanchez tried to defend Daschle at that point, but it was obvious her heart wasn't in it.

I watched Crossfire last night - out of desperation while on a FoxNewsChannel deprived vacation - and the Congresswoman (from California, I think) sitting in the Dem guest seat sounded like a twin to Senator Shelby, the other guest. There was no support for Dash-le. It seemed to leave Novak and Epstein without questions.
