LOL! I see, I am a BUSH-BOT. OK.

Please give your plan for sealing the borders. Tell me how many people you think it would take to be effective. Explain in detail how you would round up the people in this country illegally, the mechanism for deporting them, who would pay for it, how you would transport them, etc.

The devil is in the details, you know.

If the terrorist had a nuclear weapon they would have used it first. They did not have a nuclear bomb on 9/11. However, it is possible that our number 1 enemy, China, was more than willing to give them one of theirs.

**My bet has been on the west coast since they seem to have gotten over the "terror" and have pretty much discounted any problem. The terrorists want people to be terrorized, California has pretty much "moved on".**

Really? The folks I know still take 911 and future threats very seriously.

My whole trouble is I can't think of irritating names to call my opponents. A sad failing, I guess.

Fortunately for us, we're not exactly coastal.

When they get to that stage they've lost as far as I'm concerned. Just cover them with kindness, they don't know what that is. Never been around it or seen it exhibited, you see.

This is just too silly to begin with. In this media saturated age everybody, the media, the goobenmint officials, the dreadful Drudge, is looking for face time and hoping for multi-million dollar tie-in deals (prior to the big blast, presumably,) even though nobody knows anything or has seen a scrap of evidence to support all this speculation. Where is my book deal, where is my Sunday Movie of the Week deal? I'm not even going to respond to this thread!

The only possible response to a nuke must be an immediate counterstrike with hundreds of nuclear weapons on every Islamic country, followed by a biological attack on the survivors. Unless this is done, the United States will be destroyed, one city at a time, until it is no more. Life or death, choose.

And while all that is going on... round up all Arabs inside the USA, put them up against the wall, and blow their brains out... unless, of course, they supply reliable, credible and useable intelligence for hunting down the Evil Ones.

THE NUKE FIRST OPITION

I will side with Dan Day this time.

Nuke who, or whom? It would be great if someone could push a button and all the enemies heads would explode.

First, you and I don't get to choose whether, when, or where the arsenal is deployed.

Second, nukes are of little value in a guerilla war or an anti-terrorist war. Parts of the planet could be ruined for decades or more, but terrorism would not be ended.

Third, there are innocent people by the billions who would be affected. No one has a right to do that.

First thing I would do is revoke immigration from all nations known to sponsor terrorism. Two, I would call on the military plus National Guard to immediately put all available troops on the southern and northern borders. Three, I would instruct the navy to supplement the coast guard in protecting our shores. Four, I would instruct the INS and military to round up and deport all aliens that have overstayed their visas or fit the profile of possible terrorists. Five, I'd commit whatever money and resources that are necessary to beef up the INS and border control to further reinforce border security and help in action 4. Six, I would direct the DOJ, INS, FBI, IRS and all federal and state government agencies to enforce all immigration laws (something they don't do now) to deport all aliens without proper documentation and exact stiff penalties on businesses that hire them. Seven, I would cut off any legal challenges on the above on grounds of national security. Eight, if more resources are required in the above I would pull needed troops out of Bosnia, Europe, Japan, wherever to make sure we have the needed manpower to secure the nation. Finally, whatever the costs of doing this will be the costs. There is no price that can be placed on keeping this nation safe for terrorism.

This is just off the top of my head. Would it guarantee that the U.S. is “perfectly” safe from domestic terrorism? No, of course not. But actions like this would greatly reduce the risk. There is no doubt about it. And AGAIN, I certainly wouldn’t be talking about Amnesty if I was serious about combating illegal immigration and border security.

I think about it everyday living down the road from a liqued Natural Gas tank on the coast just 2miles from the Jetty it sticks out like a sore thumb.
Uses to fish out there but the Wheelchair Accessable Pier is locked up due to security. The plant claims it has its own security not Govt. I do not know if that is good or bad,.

Something is on the table, but I am not sure what it is....I haven't paid too much attention to the news lately (Makes my blood boil), but we have witnessed interesting developments lately. First dasshole, klanbyrd, & holl[ow]ings start spouting off at the mouth. They are complaining because the war lacks focus & direction, blah, blah, blah. Except for a little lip service, the WH has not done much to discourage such talk. Maybe a diversion so issues more urgent and pressing can be dealt with?

We learn the "shadow government" has been in place
"Radioactive detectors" have been in place for quite some time.
There has been a renewed offensive in Afghanistan in the past few days.
Except for Ari's diss of Clinton (applause, applause), the WH has been relatively quiet lately, almost eerily so.

I don't know...I have the feeling something is cooking and it has to do with security at home.

The results of DNA testing on the body parts found at the bombing site may incite more violence from muslim terrorists & bin ladens's death may be the cue to activation for some terrorist cells. I am starting to wonder if dasshole's "bin laden or failure" crap was a lame attempt to force the President to reveal what he knows because dasshole can't get it out of him any other way.

St. Katherine's...? Doesn't ring a bell. (Though I can say with a certainty it's not in my Anglican diocese.) But I rarely go west of Redmond, thanks to the traffic mess the area's become. Can you tell me more?

They have a website here

We also attend elsewhere but I was impressed. A lovely church and a beautiful service.
