The FBI does not want to be held accountable for their failed policiy of deliberatley allowing known Abu Nidal, AlQaeda and Hamas terrorists to enter the US on student Visas so the FBI can track their operations for years. This FBI policy was described in detail before Congress in May 1995 and can be found in the COngressional Record and news sources who reported it.
This failed FBI policy led to the OKC bombing and to the 9/11 atttacks and was facilitated by an FBI double agent working directly for Bin Laden in the US. The double agent Ali Mohammed who set up AlQaeda cells still operational in the US (according to BOb Woodward of the Washington Post late last year), all while working for the FBI.
The FBI always claims they lose track of the terrorists after they let them roam in the US for years. This happened not only with Ali Mohammed but also with 9/11 pilot Mohammed Atta (also met with Iraqis in Europe) whose terror training and mission the FBI told the head of the Norman flight school about in 1999.
Assuming the FBI is telling the truth about being fooled by Ali Mohammed and Atta, then the FBI should consider a different policy, a new policy that rolls up the Hamas, Abu Nidal and AlQaeda cell members now before the FBI looses track of them again and again as they claim they have in the past.
The FBI has repeatedly said directly and through their sympathizers that FBI agents should not be held criminally accountable for any misconduct in their mishandling of terrroists cells in the US.
The attitude that the FBI and DOJ should not be held criminally accountable and are above the law should be changed by Congress. Until that attitude is changed, the FBI will continue to fail to adequately protect Americans from terrorism and more Americans will have their civil rights and freedoms violated by the FBI.
I also hope that in this article they lied about this muslim guys name and where he works, because he's a target now.
Agreed. However, in light of the CFR fiasco, my faith in Congress has reached new lows.
I am firmly convinced we will never know the full truth of flight 800, the OKC bombing or many other incidents which have occurred over the past nine years. The full details of the Abraham Linclon assassination are still not known and fully agreed upon by all. There is way too much a desire to cover up and manipulate events for short term gain to individuals and long term loss to our nation.
