[history]
Alumni candidates see him as neither asset nor liability SANTA FE -- Bill Richardson didn't so much walk into the county Democratic convention here as he lumbered. Shoulders hunched forward, he was a rumpled figure in jeans, a blue blazer, white shirt, red tie askew and black loafers.
He knew everyone, or at least made them think he did, wrapping his large arms around the men's shoulders, kissing the women, making them all feel they were the only ones in the crowded room. If nothing else, keeping Clinton at a distance will help with their dry cleaning bills.

Don'cha love it? For years these sleazeballs aided and abetted, condoned and enabled...Now voters are supposed to believe that these same people are born again decent citizens with a new found respect for the law? HA! Once a Clintonoid, always a Clintonoid. And a vote for them is a vote for Bubba. Let's hope the electorate has finally learned its lesson.

Liz,
...room fresheners. Ick. LOL!
And backhoe, your post says it all for me. It's a fitting epitaph for Toon's legacy. And for his cronies' political futures one hopes.

GOP attack expected
Don't bet on it
GOP doesn't know how to play hardball
Besides the candidates should be attacked on their own ( Clinton's orders) record

"People still have a dim personal view of him and largely think that he was a pretty good president," he added. Actually, people have a pretty good (negative) view of him and largely think that he was a pretty dim president.

Richardson has been a failure at everything he's tried. He's the perfect politician.

Once a Clintonoid, always a Clintonoid.Isn't that the truth? We are really disappointed in NM. Way to many non-thinkers there as it appears by the votes in '92 & '96.
