Call me the typical self-centered ugly American, but I could give a rip what these people think. They remind of me of small town jealous gossipy biddies who's only form of entertainment is trying to tear down those they wish they could be.

They dislike our success, they dislike our military power, they dislike the fact that when it comes down to it, we don't need them - seems to me, they just dislike the fact that they are irrelevant.

All true, except point #2--all Bush has to do to implement an immediate "attitude change" among the "cheese-eating appeaser monkeys" is to simply say that all American military assets will be removed from any European nation not cooperating in the war on terrorism. Or better yet, from Europe as a whole. THEN watch the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the part of the "appeaser monkeys".
