Expect more of this as all the vaunted (yet probably useless) hyper security chickensh!! makes every public activity more of a pain than it's worth.
Unless the population has completely been de-balled.

Actually I thought the police and security handled themselves quite well on Saturday evening. They got the disturbance nipped in the bud before anything serious happened.

Well, I would rather have had what happened on Saturday night happen, then wait for a big riot to occur. The police admit they were watching for serious misbehavior all during the Olympics, and turning their heads when they saw open containers of alcohol during the Olympics.

It is estimated there were 6,000 to 8,000 people at each of the two entrances to Bud World on 200 South and Main Street, Dinse said. Several thousand people who had been waiting in line a long time were unhappy with the decision to close early. Waiting for Beer would make me upset too.

I heard on the news this morning that they expect 74,000 people to go through SLC International Airport today on their way home. The airport was piping in the theme song from the movie 'Vacation'. They said the wait at the skycaps was 45 minutes, and were telling people to get to the airport 4 hours early. Yikes.

Hey, buddy. What have you got against a good old-fashioned casserole-and-green-jello food fight??

Sounds like an ideal time for 128 airport "missionary farewells".... ;-)

LOL! The church leaders have come out and have said there are to be NO farewells at the airports for departing or returning missionaries. They used to suggest that, um, now, well, we're not to do it. And I'm glad, some people were getting way out of hand with the welcome homes...
To: tracer
Seriously, I would rather paint the house than go to the airport or into some stinky crowd, and wind up having to sit or stand next to some guy that looks like Ali Baba.
To: Utah Girl
get to the airport 4 hours early. Yikes, is right.
Destination: Long lines. LOL

Let me guess...the dispute started when somebody yelled at the server, "What is this slop? Get us some real beer!"
