I knew she was trouble all along. Think Imus will call her on this? Nope, me either.
To: Cuttnhorse
Now let's see. . . . What happened to Mike Barnacle in Boston? Do you think Doris will get in similar trouble?
(And what about Jeff Jacoby? What did he get in trouble for, anyway? It wasn't plagiarism, I don't think.)
Let's see, Joe Biden, Martin Luther King. . . . I guess plagiarism is not a big deal among the Left--unless you're not one of them. (Same as with sexual harrassment.)

Maybe she can get her own show like Barnicle.

What American historians plagiarize is one thing, what they purposefully omit from their works is another. The media and the Kennedy family made Michael Beschloss famous. However, many who read his "Kennedy and Roosevelt" were aware that the history ommitted quantious material on Joe Kennedy's pre-WWII appeasement of Hitler and played-down Kennedy's legion of enemies in the White House, the State Department and the military.

The scary thing is that it's elitist revisionists and incompetents like Goodwin that record our history.

Yes, liberal "historians" write "their" interpretations of history. It's called revisionism.

She should have all the profits from this book rescinded and on top of that she should be sued, harassed and heavily embarassed by all involved. Will that happen?? Of course not. But we can only hope.

Of course she plagiarized the stuff. She's an arch-liberal. Ever met a liberal who was capable of independent thought?

Joe Kennedy's pre-WWII appeasement of HitlerThis is among the most egregious perpetual omissions from US published histories of that time.

"The scary thing is that it's elitist revisionists and incompetents like Goodwin that record our history"
This reminds me of a quote I heard that goes something like..."When I hear two different eye witness accounts of the same car accident, I start having doubts about the accuracy of history" .....I always get a chuckle out of that.

What happened to Mike Barnacle in Boston?
Although he got booted by the Globe, he now writes a column or two a week for the Daily News in NYC and has an AM talk show in Boston where he can worship all things Kennedy and can say good things about ALL his friends in the Bulger Crime family.

I can't help but wonder when she was a loyal Dem providing "service" to LBJ whether or not he would grab her by her ears like his beagles ... LOL!

He was a defeatist who counseled all about him to appease Hitler regardless of the cost.
One wonders what Herr Hitler would have done with the Fenians once the Wehrmacht crossed the Channel and the Irish Sea.
