Look, the left is constantly whinning about not having "equal time" on radio, while they foist this blatantly biased "emmy winning" propaganda at us at night. I enjoyed the show, but it will be easy to ignore it too!

From the NY Post, Page Six, dated today:
"WEST Wing" creator Aaron Sorkin whines that the media portrays President Bush in too flattering a light, and he charges his NBC colleague Tom Brokaw with leading the suck-up brigade. Sorkin, a recovering cocaine addict, says a recent Brokaw-anchored day-in-the-life look at Bush was tantamount to "waving pompoms." "We're simply pretending to believe that Bush exhibits unspeakable courage," Sorkin tells the New Yorker, noting, "Tom Brokaw let it happen." He says a more accurate portrait is an upcoming documentary about Bush's campaign plane, which shows him wading into a throng of margarita-mixing journalists announcing, "It takes an animal to know an animal."

Can not wait to read this spin,,

Here is a quote from Sorkin:
It was frustrating watching Gore try so hard not to appear smart in the debates.
Funny stuff...

Yeah, as if Sorkin, a recovering coke addict, could better lead the free world in a war against terrorism? Somehow, I doubt it...

It takes a animal to know a animal is a true statement made by President Bush. He was drinking non-alcoholic beer and the press corps was drinking the hard stuff. He said it on his campaign bus and was joking around at the time. She did get it on tape. The people who have seen the tape said it is flattering to President Bush and she did a good job.

Thanks. This guy is a real loser.
The liberals are so mad that President Bush is the man in the White House.
They can't be big enough to credit him for unifying the world against terrorism.
This would be a good time for someone to post the Official Seal of the Democrat party, with the crying baby.

I too have heard the film is very flattering to GW. But, Sorkin's comments were not complimentary, of that I am sure.

I agree with you.
The thing is I sympathized with Sorkin when he said 'the thing that frustrated me is when Gore was trying so hard not to act smart in the debates'. No matter what you think of the man, him and bubba are incredibly intelligent and Gore holding back how smart he was is a disgrace to all of those who pride themselves on there intelligence.

I noticed that "pretending so hard not to look smart" quote and laughed at the time. Sorkin's gone into some serious denial if he thinks that Gore was deliberately dumbing down his performance in all three debates, especially after losing the first two...

On 60 Minutes the other night there was a story about this guy who sleepwalked in the middle of the night to go eat.....I noticed the official seal was on this guy's refrigerator. I got a smile out of that...:)

Bush got better grades than Gore in college.

"I enjoyed the show, but it will be easy to ignore it too!" I've not seen it once so, guess I'm not missing much.

I'm probably one of the few. I've never watched West Wing. I loathe Martin Sheen and his offspring.

Looks like Sorkin screwed up. Ya think?
