My guess is that the interview was done just to prove it was him. The beheading was probably done midsentence in order to leave no doubt as to it authenticity.

I like billboards. I also think every one of us should be spitting out letters to editors of local papers with "
Islam is a violent political movement masquerading as a religion"I would also add that its time for Colin Powell, Richard Boucher and other state dept idiocrats to be run out of town on a rail. Tonight's State Dept release equated this Islamic barbarism with a criminal investigation. Tonight I feel pagan. Can't wait to finish Robert Kaplan's new book

It just was coincidence that the kidnap victim was said to be a Jew who was anti-Islam. Islam itself had nothing to do with his murder.
Right.

"He was killed because he was a Jew. That is a horrible thing to hear. " The Islamic abuse of the term "Martyr" is nauseating. In Christian and Jewish understanding, "martyr" refers to a person who, though he threatened no one, is murdered specifically for his beliefs.
Pearl was quite possibly a martyr.
That there are Palestinians who would call the the ambulance-driving young murderer who blew up the 81-year old man a "martyr", and then sell her pictures is utterly perverse. What a gross cheapening of a sacred word.

I love reading Paul Johnson. Where did he talk about Islam?

Wrong, a Yellow dog Democrat is a more conservative Democrat. He often votes with Republicans on issues like Tax breaks and against gun control. Wrong. A Yellow Dog Democrat is a die-hard Democrat.A Blue Dog Democrat is the more conservative Democrat. Get your terms straight.

The media continues to downplay the WTC deaths (no images of bodies were ever shown and the footage disappeared from the airwaves after 3 days).
True and they didn't even mention the Pentagon murders after a day or so either. You never hear the word "Pentagon" used anymore either - and if any surviving families in the Pentagon got any of those Red Cross millions, I never heard a word of it.

re: The day India released Sayeed, it signed Mr. Pearl's death warrant.
I agree wholeheartedy. We need no further proof that we must never appease or negotiate with terrorists. Animals only understand one thing... force.

It may help to execute an al Qaeda a day at Gitmo to get the attention of the lower forms of life that persist in fighting the West.Invite a CNN camera crew, too. Indeed. If you have a broadband Internet connection, go check out the "Al Qaida cam" on www.stickdeath.com. Pass up the huge, slow-loading intro, it's a bunch of nonsense. Go straight to the place where it says "Click to see the detainees". That guy definitely is reading my mind.

From your Post 9 in this thread ...
If they say it is so, it must be so! Take your Soma, swallow the lies, listen to the doublespeak, and love Big Brother!
It just gets old after a while. Orwell is dead, 1984 was 18 years ago, and no one's forcing you to take Soma. Give it a rest.

It should be clear to Bush and Rummy that no further al Qaeda prisoners are to be taken alive. They should be shot on sight, and left to rot. If we kill all the al Queda tomorrow, by next year there will be a new batch to replace them.
The mullahs are the ones who indictrinate the young ones, who recruit the new suicide bombers, who provide the ideological foundation for radical Islam
As long as we allow them sanctuary inside their mosques, we will have no peace

A few Coast Guard cutters could use some "bait" for our guys' R&R to catch some mako. Into the chum bucket with every stinking one of them.

Liberals are cowards at the core. I have a feeling some of these idiots are delivering flower bouquets to their local mosques at this very moment.

"As an added deterrent, he ordered Wallace's body cut in four and the pieces brought to cities at the four corners of England, where they were displayed. Wallace's head was impaled on the spikes at London Bridge."
It is a similar monument that needs to be erected at the WTC site. Not some maudlin reminder of ours that they killed, but rather a fearsome reminder of what we did in retaliation.

And do you think it would be a smart thing to stop this immigration "free for all" into our own country, you know, for homeland security reasons. I don't think they'll close the borders no matter how much security risk there is for Americans. Mexicans want to come over to use our hospitals, schools, take jobs, pick up their welfare checks and food stamps, shop at the malls and of course at Walmart. Obviously their comfort and convenience matters more than anything ---can't close those borders.
