The board asked for those opposed/favor of the motion to stand. 30 (mostly husky women) stood in Favor, 300 plus parents stood in opposition. So what is your reasoning that the board passed on this since 300 parents were opposed to it? Just being politcally correct, I suppose?
Simple economics. They were afraid the ACLU or the GLADD group would sue. And thus risk the state and federal dollars held hostage by the gubment'!!
