Try making pennies out of copper again, more children suffer heavy metal poisoning from swallowing the current pennies made of a zinc alloy. Since 1983 pennies have been made of zinc and it is highly toxic. I see lots of dogs that have eaten pennies made post 1983 that are in hemolysis due to the ingestion of pennies. More kids are hurt with the ingestion of post 83' pennies than BB guns but does anyone think the liberal anti-gunners want to address this issue?

After the discussion, BB-gun opponents promplty got into their one-ton cars - often forcing small children to join them - and drove down two-lane roads, frequently missing oncoming traffic by just inches and at relative speeds exceeding 110 MPH. When later asked about their near-crumpled-flaming-death experiences and what legislation they sought to severly limit automobile ownership in the interest of preventing what is euphemistically called "accidents", they said "huh?"

Boy this brings back memories. In the middle of summer as a kid we'd put on our winter parkas, mittens and snorkel masks and have BB gun fights! And I still have both eyes!

My sister has never gotten over the vicous BB gun ambush that left her favorite Teddy Bear pellet ridden beyond recognition.

Glad I grew up when I did ... Moms stayed home to watch their own kids ... when moms didn't it was frowned on ... the husband was viewed as an inadequate provider in forcing her to work and abandon the kids ... kids were spanked when bad ... played wit BB guns - without ONE single mishap, no missing eye(s), no injured limb(s), toro etc....also cow boys and indians was a favorite .. oh, forgot about cap guns - they were common too.

Kids today are soooooo stupid, unsupervised, self centered and undisciplined today that maybe this needs to be banned too. After all it's an attempt to curb the ungodly little heathens.

Oh, they're "smart" when it comes to sex, foul language, disrespect, manipulation, and self centeredness. Hardly traits I admire or would want. Then again, I'm not politically correct and actually quite happy and at peace in my life. I also report to a higher Authority and none of this politically correct crap is acceptable to Him.
