It just frosts me that NBC can't cover the whole Olympics live. They're showing infomercials on CNBC, they could be doing live coverage...

I do plan on watching the coverage, but I don't care if I know who wins. For me, it is just as exciting to know the winner, then watch to see how they win. Sometimes, it is like, so how are they going to pull it off?

I think your heart is in the right place, but I wish you would have changed the title of this thread to something like "Early Olympic Events Results" so it gave us the option of seeing the results before the TV coverage started.
A little of the drama has left that event for me now.

This is an absolute crock, CNBC is showing INFOMERCIALS and the American gets shut out of the gold, incredible.

Or call this thread "Olympic Results Spoilers". Something like that.

I agree. Good post.

Aren't there any American tv stations showing the Olympics live? Years ago, the live olympic action was about all you could see on tv!

I will try and do that in the future, 10 people are going to post the skating/hockey results when they are taped delayed-shown not live on NBC.
This is ridiculous to have to wait for 5 hours to see something going on in our country..

Thanks. Maybe the Admin Moderator (with umbra's permission) could change the title of this thread so it does not spoil the results for thos of us waiting for coverage.

Don't know about you, but the very worst commercials are on cable, and are mercilessly boring...,Diteck, $19.95 inventions, not to mention bad credit and refinancing offers. Makes you wonder who is watching besides yourself.

I turned it off.

Believe me, I'm just as ticked off at NBC as you are. Why in the hell did they go and get the NASCAR Daytona qualifier if they knew in advance that they were going to be handling the Olympics? What a bunch of jerks.

It used to be they would show the Olympics LIVE no matter what time of day or night it was on. I can't imagine they get more viewrs by tape delaying it. All for $$$$, not for the sport itself. Media Whores.

I sent a note to the Sidebar Moderator to change the title to your request.

And we have to watch those stupid inspirational segments to see someone get the silver.

Thanks umbra. Maybe the Sidebar Moderator will post a thread asking people not to give early results in the title of their threads.
