According to FNC, no word yet on how threat was delivered (note on board, phone call, etc.)

What a pain. These crackpots never stop. They just love scaring everyone and disrupting life. We get sooo many of them here in New York City that half of them we ignore.

With the opening of the Olympics tonite, there may be a rash of such things today and this weekend--a way for some to get their jollies.

Just checked CNN - they're not covering it. It's their hometown. Maybe they don't know? :)

Anything being said in your area that you can add to this?

FNC reporting that Delta says this is a security-related issue, not a bomb threat.

WGST here in Atlanta is reporting that Flight 350 from Atlanta to Boston had a security related incident at 6 am. No passengers were boarded. A threatening phone call was made from Chicago. What the threat was has not been reported. Passengers were put on other flights.

While we are talking about Delta, I was thru the Delta Fort Lauderdale terminal in January and I see how Broward County couldn't count votes. It was the most disorganized mess I have ever seen. Like another freeper said "I've seen more organiztion in a $hit fight @ the monkey house."

Probably a union organizer, since Delta flight attendants voted not to unionize
