Is it ok to discuss this, or will the pro-gay crowd go nuts?

I'll speak for myself........and myself only.
I don't approve of homosexuality in the slightest. I find it an aberration and an abomination before God.
However.........
Let's talk in different terms. Do I think that there are homosexuals who love the Constitution as much as I do? Absolutley. No question. Do I believe that there are homosexuals who are willing to fight to protect our Constitutional rights? Yes. No doubt.
If you are a fellow American....a homosexual.... who loves our Constitution and are willing to put in on the line to defend it, then I will pray for you but also welcome you as a comrade-in-arms in the struggle.
To me, it's just that simple. AND............for those who don't know this FReeper of several years............I'm just to the right of Genghis Khan and a father of seven.

This is a no-brainer. If the Republican Party starts embracing the homosexual agenda, George Bush will destroy any chance he has to become a great President. This is nothing but a Trojan Horse by the godless left to undermine and destroy the foundation of the Republican party, the religious conservatives. And once you destroy the foundation, the whole house collapses. Carl Rove, WAKE UP!!!

[Charles] Francis heads the Republican Unity Coalition (RUC), a year-old organization that seeks to make homosexuality a non-issue in the Republican Party. Good ole Charlie must have seen this:
From The Overhauling of Straight America: "We do not need and cannot expect a full appreciation or understanding of homosexuality from the average American. You can forget about trying to persuade the masses that homosexuality is a good thing. But if only you can get them to think that it is just another thing, with a shrug of their shoulders, then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won."
Yeppers, that's exactly what he's trying to do. OK, all together now... shrug your shoulders.

Blinding Flash of the obvious: Here's where the Dems get their money: Noting that the leading homosexual lobby group, Human Rights Campaign, has raised upwards of $18 million in contributions for Democrat candidates, RUCs web site states: Add to that Emily's List (liberal, feminazis) Unions (mostly Govt ones)-ie people without a clue of what makes capitalism run Hollywood (includes media) - see above Trial Lawyers- need I say more. Ever wonder how the Dems keep coming up with these idiotic positions that are antithetical to American Values? They are getting paid to do it.

Gays comprise 1-3% of the populace. It is reasonable to assume that less than half of this bloc vote Republican. There is no reason to offer homosexuals the olive branch of "normalcy" in the GOP if, in doing so, cultural conservatives bolt. And it is likely they will.
The 1-3% numbers will not grow or change. I'd say PC pandering was going on here, but to what end?

Francis heads the Republican Unity Coalition (RUC) Is it true that Sid Blumenthal heads the Socialist Unity Coalition?

Francis heads the Republican Unity Commission (RUC)...that seeks to make homosexuality a "non-issue" in the Republican Party.Someone ought to tell Francis to the only time "homosexuality" is ever an "issue" with the GOP is when the gay right activists insist on demonizing Republicans for not advocating or recognizing: gay "marriage"; affirmative-action "special" rights; teaching homosexuality primers to kids in public schools.
Francis is Alice in Wonderland (where else?) As for Rove, well let's just say he can do the math.

I know two, and only two conservative gays (and I'm from the Bay Area).
Only one voted for Bush.
All this effort for one vote?
