I think we are about to find out that the retrofit security bars are useless...

The passenger on the plane clearly stated in his CNN interview that the bottom half of the door failed and that the man was attempting to crawl into the cockpit through the bottom half of the failed door.

Its sounding like the crew opened the door ONLY after it had failed...
