For over 2 decades the parasite seemed almost harmless. It sat quietly sucking off our property taxes, but doing little other damage. Then it began to think of retirement and riches. That is when Mr Ament called three of his long time cronies to draft a new retirement plan for all county workers, themselves included. The new plan was so generous that it even shocked the union leaders. Not only did it increase monthly benefits for retirees, but also instituted a new concept; a retirement bonus. Somehow it just happened that the formula for these bonuses would reap the four of them millions. Even more millions will go to the many county workers who will retire under this program; a situation we are legally locked into forever.
When word of this got, a recall effort was launched. Mr Ament quickly tossed his co-conspirators to the wolves by demanding their resignations (not offering his own). When this didn't slow the recall drive, he promised not to accept his $3million ‘bonus'. The taxpayers were still not satisfied. As of this writing, the effort has gotten 12,000 more signatures than are needed; well ahead of the deadline, surprising even the organizers.
A man with any dignity or honor at this point would resign. However, this is not a man, but rather a parasite. His reaction? To call out his lawyers, probably paid for by tax dollars, to find a technicality to throw out the signatures.

NOTE: The above was sent to the local paper, the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel. For those of you not familiar with the situation here; probably 99.9% of you, the parasite in question is Tom Ament, our long time County Executive in Milwaukee. The web site for his recall is: http://www.recallament.com/ He's been Co Exec for well over 20 yrs, I think going on 30 now. I recognized him as a snake over 10 years ago when I went to a gun-ban rally. Don't panic over this folks, I went as the guest of an NRA spy; I was a co-spy you might say. The rally was nothing but hype, crying about the "victims" of guns; never any mention of the criminals who have been using them. Never any suggestion of putting the trash behind bars, certainly no mention of the thought of executing them, a concept foreign to Wisconsin. Just hype about the "evil guns"; as if they take over the minds of people who hold them. When I approached Mr Ament after the rally and asked him about getting tough on violent criminals he just, as the theme song from Kelly's Heros says, ‘turned his back and walked away'.
