Someone needed to actually have a real game time thread (not one started in the middle of the day where no one could find it).
Let's roll.

To heck with the pre-game and the game. I'm watching "From the Archives," on Family Network. They're showing the Marines battle for New Britain in the Pacific. Some amazing footage.

I used one of those earlier threads to document my prediction, but I'll repeat it here...
Rams 31 - Pats 13

I'm listening on the radio -- no tv. I just listened to the National Anthem and felt it was butchered by Mariah Carey (sp). Whitney Houston did a much better job back in '91.

Not bold enough to predict the upset, and Warner is my favorite non-Giant NFL player, but give me the Pats and the points.

WHUTSA SUPERBOWL?
To: Tennessee_Bob
My thoughts exactly. Listening to Pariah Carey exercise her vocal cords as she destroyed the National Anthem sent me flying into the computer room. Stupor Bowl 2002.

Although I still dislike Georgia "Front 'n Rear" for stealing the Rams away to St. Louis, this southern Californian predicts the Rams by 24. C.R.

We don't care if we win by 20, if we win by 30 or if we win by one," said Rams quarterback Kurt WarnerWell I sure as heck do ......I gave my boss the Pat's and 10 points for a ten dollar bet ! I'm planning on taking his ten bucks and muttering ......faulk ewe...... as I walk away smiling..........:o)
Go RAM's !!

Super Bowl: Cinderellas need not apply.
Worst percentage for a SB team: .563, Rams, SB XIV.
Worst percentage for a SB winner: .625, 49ers, SB XXIII.
Fewest regular season wins for a SB winner: 9, Packers, SB II.
Correct me if necessary; meantime, go watch the game! :-)

I just turned the Super Bowl on in time to hear Mariah sing the Anthem. So did Pres. Bush show up at the game? This morning Fox was interviewing a Secret Service director and asked him if the President was going to the Super Bowl and the director said he didn't know. I thought, you guys know exactly where the President is every single second of every single day - of course, you will know whether he is at the Super Bowl or not.

Introducing X41 to large ovation.

George H. W. Bush! They skipped over Clinton the Coward.

The Patriots rejected the pre-game introductions and took the field as a team. Now the coin toss...RAMS BALL
Oh well, at least the Pats get the ball to start the second half.

Clinton there? Know he's scheduled for SLC on Friday.

George Herbert Walker Bush is amazingly classy! Giving the coin to Roger to toss! Way to go, GHWB! Can you imagine Xlinton doing that? NOT.
