Whitman breaks leg on slopes with economic moguls
02/01/99
By Fredrick Kunkle STAFF WRITER

Gov. Christie Whitman broke a leg skiing in the Swiss Alps yesterday while attending an international economic conference, her spokesman said.

''She took a hard, twisting fall and broke both the bones in one leg," spokesman Peter McDonough said.
Story

Clearly some sort of conspiracy related to the WEF. Whitman goes there and breaks a leg. They come here and McGreevey breaks a leg.

One Democrat governor and one Republican governor BOTH break a leg ;eerily reminds me of Kennedy/Bone fatally smacking trees.

At least you can recover from a broken leg.

Sorry to hear the Guv busted his leg ! He's got a whole pile of doo doo to deal with-thanks to Legislators-from both parties - who decided every day should be Christmas, as long as the Taxpayers get the bill.

The couple was strolling along the beach before dinner Friday when McGreevey stepped off a four-foot ledge in the sand, breaking his left femur, Aronsohn said.

The boy must have some pretty skinny legs to break a femur from a four foot drop into sand.

My favorite part of the Whitman story was when the medics put her in an ambulance to get her to the hospital they didn't have her in all the way and slammed the door into her feet! That's got to hurt!

I can sympathize. The responder carrying me had a protruding gut which was pushing against my just-broken foot at every step;it was almost as painful as the twenty-foot fall which caused the breaks.(NEVER trust ALUMINUM ladders, especially secondhand ones.)
