Noelle is not a violent drug offender, the Florida jails are full with violent criminals already.

On a first offence in Florida it is rare to include jail time. I have been going thru a few records this morning and 18 months is a little longer than most sentences.

Yea, you know. Anybody that knows anything about law would be shocked if they were incarcerated for something as minor as this.

And the person of color Ummm... I believe Noelle is, as you put it, a person of color.
What was your point?

I don't know what the law is in Florida, but where I live, the jail time is reserved for those who don't follow through with rehab. It's called drug court.

And the person of color AKA poor peon gets jail time FAIR ,Huh. First of all, she IS a person of color. Second of all sending her to prison serves neither the community or her. I wish more drug sentences were that sensible.

And the person of color AKA poor peon gets jail time FAIR ,Huh.I think she is a person of color. Isn't her mother Mexican or from another country south of the border?
