" The odds do not favor the existence of aliens."
Wrong. They do. Do the math.
What are the odds? I wasn't aware that they were even known. All I knew was that the possibility of life occuring on at least one planet in the universe is 1...but I wasn't sure how to extrapolate into at least two planets.

Math equations of unverifiable premises mean nothing. You have faith and you don't like when your faith is challenged. Perhaps now you will have some empathy for the Christians you like to trash.-MM

Do the mathIf I may note, according to the Drake equation (despite its vast oversimplification), and the one set of estimates for the variables(despite their admittedly shot-in-the-void guesses), there should be statisically 2400 species capable of communication, though I'm not sure if that's supposed to mean right now or in the lifetime of the galaxy, though I would imagine it's the former.
