"Rush is now a multimillionaire...."

Why do you bring up his financial status? And his marital status? What does this have to do with his work? Most Freepers reading your statement would no doubt remain passionate conservatives if tomorrow they became millionaires and got married, to boot.

If you think Rush or any host can remain politically "passionate" for three straight hours without a change of pace, humorous interludes, or occasionally touching on other timely subjects such as sports, you're mistaken.

That would be a recipe for burnout on the host's part, and boredom on the listeners' part.

Since moving to Atlanta, I've started listening in the a.m. to Neal Boortz whilst waiting for Rush's program.

Neal is usually interesting, but he's all over the map. Rush is much more focussed, even with golf, cigars, and football.
