I hope and pray that Mr. Pearl is still alive. If those bastards really have killed him, we should tell General Musharraf in no uncertain terms: either he starts taking out the terrorists within his own country immediately, or we're going to do it for him.

Prayers for Daniel Pearl. I won't say what I think about the ********s that did this.

Where are the humanitarian organizations protesting this poor guy's treatment? Hmmm? Your kidding right? Don't you know that only the US is capable of inhumane and illegal treatment of people.

Thanks for your kind words.
It is their pleasure to serve...my job is to worry.

Everyone reacts differently to these kind of situations. You might be right or it could be she is still in shock. Unusual situations like this often leave people with a since of unreality. Its difficult to judge anyones reaction by what might be percieved as the typical reaction, because there really is no typical reaction.True. I was just trying to counter some of the more nefarious motives that are being attributed to her. Crisis makes us react oddly.

its the least i could do, THANK YOU FOLKS!! isnt it refreshing to see rumsfeld always acknowledge our troops as heroes and loyal, as opposed to klinton running around apologizing for slavery in africa and dismantling our military as quickly as he can in 8 years?

Three terrorists from Gitmo dropped from the approximate height of the World Trade Center from a helicopter to return them to that part of the world is something that would send a message they would get. BAD IMAGE ALERT. Bodies dropped from that height don't bounce. They splatter-Like bugs on a windshield. We'd need a lot of plastic bags.

It turned out earthlings were the main course.Remember the ending ? ITS A COOKBOOK !!!.......= The Torah.

It was job at the WSJ. He went where the WSJ sent him. I'm sure this guy had a family to feed and didn't want to lose his career...tragically, it looks like now he has lost his life. Now, I don't care if the guy was over there for his job or if others are there with the Red Cross or any other reason....if they kidnap and/or kill any American over there or here, the terrorists deserve a death sentence. This guy was a civilian and there is no excuse for what happened to him. The only people whose "fault" it is, are the animals who killed him. That's where the responsibility lies and they should pay the consequences.
We have the freedom of the press. Yes, this man went over there knowing the dangers....he wanted to get the 'story' about the war for you and me, because we live in a country where truth and knowledge and information is tantamount - even if it means risking our lives.
He took his risks just as airline pilots, flight attendents, mail room workers, congressman, office workers and etc. all across America are taking their risks. He is no less a 'hero' for taking those risks against terrorists then any other of the other people I mentioned have been or could be....and deserves no less respect for his decision to take those risks.

What if his work for the WSJ was merely his day job?
If you alluding to what I think you're alluding to, then he was a hero and some spec-ops with extremely unpleasant dispositions will know exactly what to do.
Did I read you right?

ITS A COOKBOOK !!! Outer Limits. Yep. Seen it. Remembr it well. The aliens were friendly, therefore embrace them. They ended up being people eaters.

If you wilfully travel to Pakistan to play a gig and your kidnapped should the Government come and get you? NO!If you willingly fly a commercial airplane in America and terrorists kidnap you and/or kill you, should the government come and get you? Yes or no?

You statements reminded me of an old Twilight episode where the aliens come to earth to be our friends and have us over for dinner. It turned out earthlings were the main course. Was the episode entitled "To Serve Man"?
