President Bush headed to the Sunshine state where he joined his brother, Gov. Jeb Bush, at Volusia County Fire Services Training Center in Daytona Beach, where he addressed a crowd which included Senior Corps Volunteers. QUOTE OF THE DAY: I'm proud of our country. I'm proud of the spirit of America. I am proud to be the President of the greatest nation on the face of the Earth. (Applause.) I said in my speech that one way we'll overcome evil is through the gathering momentum of millions of acts of kindness and decency and compassion. And I'm proud to be in a room of part of that momentum.

Thank you, rintense! I've taken to calling our President "President Studmuffin" because it gets such a chuckle out of my husband. My husband was quick to let me know recently, however, that HE can bench press 225 pounds. Well, okay, I guess he's a studmuffin, too! What's a gal to do? Sigh.

I can't get over how thin GW looks in these pictures, especially #3 of post 6. I wonder if he is still losing weight.
To: rintense
That first picture is campaign brochure quality...a knockout! It really captures the strength and resolve of our president....thanks, Rin!
